A roofing crew arriving at an active military property has to fit the installation’s access plan before it can reach the roof. The work still begins with the assembly: identify the membrane, deck, drains, penetrations, attachment, and condition at each transition. Then confirm who may enter, what equipment can be brought in, and which approvals are required before the scope moves forward. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton supports Marine forces with housing, training, and logistics; March Air Reserve Base hosts air mobility and reserve organizations. Those missions make site rules specific to each facility. We review the project documents and coordinate through the owner’s authorized contact; the installation itself sets access and operating conditions.
